The Placebo Effect and Polymer

"The Placebo Effect" by Maria Pomiansky and "Polymer" by Vadim Levin are site specific works, developed as part of the Art of Molecule project between NCCR MSE in Basel and the Zurich University of the Arts. Both works have been recently inaugurated and are currently being exhibited in Berta’s Saloon (BPR 1096, Rosental areal, Basel).

Maria Pomiansky holds a MA in Fine Arts (2015) and in Scenography (2007), Zurich University of the Arts; a BA in Fine Arts (1997), Bezalel Academy of Art and Design Jerusalem and studied graphic design at the Moscow College of Art and Design (1986 – 1990) in Moscow.

Vadim Levin, "Polymer", glass sculpture, 2018

Vadim Levin was born in Asbest, Russia in 1973. In 1991 he moved to Israel and in 2009 to Germany. Collaborating with various theaters in Israel and Germany, he has worked as an artist and video jockey. Since 2012, he has used performance, video and installation in his work.
